NICKNAME: Jul, Jules, Princess

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Danced 15 years with Dance Time Studios, Inc. in Pittsburgh, having studied ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, tap, modern and tumbling. Majored in dance at Columbia College Chicago. CAREER GOALS: To own my own dance studio where GraffitiDancers resides and to have the company become as big (if not bigger) than Hubbard Street

LIFETIME GOALS: To see Graffiti grow and be known across the globe as one of the most prestigious dance companies ever lived. To be married to a man that makes me happy (they’re hard to come by), have many dancing babies, be able to build my parents an estate for them to retire on and to finally feel accomplished.

3 WORDS THAT BEST DESCRIBE ME: Bubbly, Driven, Crazy (in a good way)

BEST ADVICE OR QUOTE: “Milk was a bad choice…” (just kidding) “Dance in the light and the light will be yours forever.”

I AM HAPPIEST WHEN: I see Graffiti perform and receive AMAZING feedback…I then know that I’m doing a decent job. And when I can go shopping and know I have the money to be spending on all that I’m buying. When I’m with my family AND when I’m out with my puppy, Henessey.

MY CLAIM TO FAME IS: Defeating numerous back injuries and surgeries….being told that I would never dance again, only to open my own dance company and perform with them.

MOST UNUSUAL JOB: I was a manager of a Coldstone Creamery (for 4 weeks…manual labor and I don’t mix well together, especially when it comes to cleaning up messy, messy food, and also, I don’t like to wear weird hats and sing for tips)

MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THIS ABOUT ME: I have a serious fear of worms. I love to cook, but never have time. I’m a HUGE football fan, but only for the Steelers. AND, I was a serious competitive swimmer for 10 years.

MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT WAS: I was out at a club with a friend who was going to talk to some hot guy for me and I went to dance on this platform…when I turned around to wave to her (while she was talking to the guy), I fell backwards off the platform and landed flat on my back…I laid there completely still for about 3 minutes until someone finally offered to help me up. It was mortifying and needless to say, the guy was not interested.

MY PASSIONS ARE: Dancing and watching others dance…it’s so inspiring. Okay yeah, and shopping too.

FAVORITE FOOD: My mom’s glazed ham-balls (it sounds funny, but they’re soooo good) and all latin food.

FAVORITE MOVIE: Goodfella’s (I don’t own it, but I’ll rent it over and over again)

FAVORITE BOOK: Public Secrets by Nora Roberts

I STAY HOME TO WATCH: Sex and The City (I don’t have cable because I don’t watch t.v, but I am a serious STC addict and own all six seasons on DVD…and I think I have them all memorized too)

IF I COULD VACATION ANYWHERE, I’D GO: to Spain

THE PEOPLE I ADMIRE MOST ARE: My mother, she’s my best friend….my everything.

MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT TO DATE IS: Graffiti, watching it start and watching it grow….

THE BEST ADVICE I WOULD GIVE KIDS: Don’t judge others for what they do, especially if you don’t want others to judge you. We don’t always know everyone’s situations and we ourselves are never perfect, therefore, we should never judge.

THE BEST GIFT I’VE EVER RECEIVED: A second, third, fourth, fifth, etc chance….from God. He gives them to me each and every time I pray, he forgives me and grants me another day.

TWO PEOPLE I’D LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Lopez

WHAT I’D LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS: Have my own dance studio with over 300 students registered. Be able to start a dance academy. Have Graffiti traveling across the nation to perform. Have a happy and serious relationship.
